Investment Promotion Network

The Commonwealth Investment Promotion Network is a platform for Commonwealth investment promotion agencies to utilise the Commonwealth Business Council as a central focal point for interaction between Commonwealth investment authorities and access to a global body of investors. The Investment Promotion Network aims to support investment inflows into Commonwealth countries, and increase intra-Commonwealth trade.

The network was established at the Commonwealth Business Forum 2011 in Perth, Australia to provide IPAs the opportunity to better access the mutually beneficial Commonwealth ‘family’ of nations. The network has a dual headed thrust; supporting investment promotion, and enhancing capacity development. In both cases the Commonwealth Business Council performs a coordinating role, helping channel IPA messages to the global and Commonwealth investor community as well as facilitating cooperation between agencies.
