President of Zambia delivers first UK public address at CEF
As a part of the Diamond Jubliee Commonwealth Economic Forum, HE Michael Sata, President of the Republic of Zambia delivered his first public address in the UK since his election last year. The President addressed the theme ‘A New Vision for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in Africa’ and was heard by an audience of over 350 in the Mansion House’s prestigious Egyptian Hall.
The President’s address was followed by a special session on Investing in Zambia and was addressed by Hon Robert Sichinga, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Republic of Zambia, Hon Christopher Yaluma, MP, Minister of Energy, Mines and Natural Resources, Republic of Zambia, Hon Emmanuel Chenda, MP, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Republic of Zambia, Andrew Chipwende, Director-General, Zambia Development Agency, Carl Irwin, Executive Director, Zambeef Products Plc and Jeyakumar Janakaraj, Chief Executive Officer, Konkola Copper Mines plc.
