Diamond Jubilee Commonwealth Economic Forum

The Commonwealth Business Council in Collaboration with the City of London was delighted to host the Diamond Jubilee Commonwealth Economic Forum at the Mansion House on 6th and 7th June 2012.

The Forum focused on the theme, Shaping Capitalism for Global Prosperity and Sustainable Growth and was addressed by the Prime Minister of Malta, President of Zambia, Ministers and business leaders from across the Commonwealth.

As a part of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebration’s we were honoured that HRH The Duke of York, KG addressed the reception to bring to a close the first days deliberations. The reception was also addressed by Alderman David Wootton, The Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of London and Sir Alan Collins, Director-General, Commonwealth Business Council.

On the 7th of June, we were honoured to host President Sata of Zambia’s first public speech in London since his election last year. The President’s speech was followed by a special session on Investing in Zambia and was addressed by the Zambian Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry; Minister of Energy, Mines and Natural Resources and the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock.
