Commonwealth Games Business Conference
Held immediately prior to the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the Commonwealth Games Business Conference will be the main focus of the business programme during the Games.
The Conference will reflect the spirit of cooperation, diversity and achievement of the modern Commonwealth on show at the Games.
The objective of the Conference will be to discuss solutions to the major economic challenges impacting all Commonwealth nations through the themes of global cooperation, sustainable trade & investment, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The event will focus on issues and opportunities common to all countries, such as employment and skills, infrastructure development, improving financial services for business and the development of the smart cities of the future. In all these areas, Scotland and the UK have unique expertise and offer huge opportunities for investors and partners from across the Commonwealth.
The Conference is organised jointly by UK Trade & Investment, Scottish Enterprise, the Scottish Government and the Commonwealth Business Council.
