The West Africa Investment Forum 2009 took place over the 30 March to the 1st April in Abuja, Nigeria. The Forum brought together over 40 speakers from business and Government, to discuss and promote the ECOWAS region as a prime investment destination.

The Global Business Leaders Forum and the Arab, Americas, Asia, Africa Business Summit will be merged for 2010, and for the first time will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Forum, held in association with the Malaysian Government will take place in Early February of next year .
 
The CBC’s Islamic Finance Working Group which held its first meeting in London on 21 February 2009, is chaired by the Bank of London And The Middle East. It comprises representatives of London-based Islamic financial institutions, conventional banks with Islamic financing “windows”, professional services and legal firms
